Currently there is an excellent national website, Work for Water that does a great job of providing a vast amount of helpful information regarding water career opportunities.

Work for Water is a joint project of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Water Environment Federation (WEF), training and educational organizations that represent thousands of water professionals from all over the world. Working collaboratively with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), they have produced this website and related materials to inform to encourage careers in the water sector, where opportunities to protect and preserve water resources are virtually unlimited and the chance to make a difference is unmatched.
